At Southern Pines Chevrolet Buick GMC Service Center, I was told they will fix everything but only at full price. You need to take your problem with getting some dealership assist with costs to management and none are available for quite some time (in a forecasting meeting). It's like banging my head against the wall.
They virtually dropped everything to get us back on the road.

Service rates completely outrageous. 1500 to install a new non OEM radiator and thermostat. Over 800 in labor charges alone. Quick Google search reveals average cost for same job is under 800. Shop around because this place will absolutely stick it to you.

Buyers should treat a potential purchase from Southern Pines Select Auto like they would from a private party - check all the basics, and then follow-up with a check from a competent mechanic before purchase. Select Auto is owned by Southern Pines Chevrolet Buick GMC dealership, but that means nothing. Select Auto's cars do NOT go through any real inspection and there is NO grace period after you sign the dotted line. That means you shouldn't even assume the basics, like a second key, owners manual, or even headlights and AC working - that all happened to me. They're not going to help you out, so don't pay more than private party price either.
We were traveling and had a serious overheating issue.
I had an appointment. As soon as I arrived, I was asked to reschedule as though I was just walking in for services. It was clear that the staff wanted to leave early or on time and thought my services would hinder that. I was in for an oil change. The guy who waited on me was a bit condescending. When I asked if he needed my key, he stated "no I'll just do the oil change here".He obviously knew he was wrong and assured me he would get me taken care of as I let him know I had no plans to reschedule. My oil was changed however they failed to rotate my tires. I rely on your experts to complete the required services for maintainence. Clearly, they missed the mark. I purchased my vehicle in 2013 there and have been a loyal customer due to the excellent service I've received. At this point, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
