Horrible customer service- rude and lazy. My wife attempted to order and pick up Allegheny flagstone and drainage rock (which I had done at the same store last week). The two gals at Customer Service refused to look up the price and told her she had to get it herself and bring it back. My wife ended up loading and hauling 20 rocks and 3 bags of gravel and paid for them in the garden center to avoid the hassle she got from Customer Service. We'll shop in Fayetteville and drive the extra 50 miles in the future. If you look at the past reviews, this is not a new complaint. Employee's often reflect the management. Lowe's ought to review the Managers performance.
A good sized Lowe's Home Improvement. The customer service is hit or miss. I have had incredible service a few times while other times not so much. The store seems to be maintain pretty well. I haven't seen the trash on the shelves like other people have commented. Standard Lowe's store.
I bought a fridge and a washer/dryer set a few weeks ago and had a great experience. Tabitha gave me so much insight and was very helpful. The delivery was also great! I ordered my fridge about 2 weeks before we were set to close on our home and scheduled the delivery for moving day. My washer and dryer set was ordered that week and scheduled to deliver on July 4th, 5 days after closing. Well, the day the fridge was supposed to arrive Lowe's showed up with my fridge, washer and dryer! I was extremely pleased that my July 4th was open and the guys installed everything as I left with my moving truck. When I came they were gone, everything worked perfectly, and they even put bottled water I left on the counter in the fridge so that I would have cool water on a hot day. Professional, courteous, and thoughtful.
It has alway been one of ths least helpful lowes that i have ever been in. The only reason to go is because everyone else is closed. If lowes took half of the outlandish sallery of the store manager and used it for training instead of company trips then things might change for Mr. Skipper aka manager.
I tried to buy a refrigerator today. I could not purchase at my local Raleigh store as the Southern Pines store would be delivering the fridge. The Raleigh store gave me the number and important information needed to order over the phone. Appliances never picked up the phone, and customer service was rude. After 6 tries, I got great service at Best Buy. They also got my business.
