I'm the owner of Monkee's in Southern Pines and none of these complaints have ever been brought to mine or any of my employee's attention, which leads me to question the validity of the negative review. My employees and myself strive to make the store a welcoming environment and try to provide excellent customer service to everyone who walks through the door. I have been in this store multiples times and I am consistently bewildered by the rude employees. This is truly the only place in the area where I experience this. I have received a "hello" on one occasion but most of the time they don't even raise their heads to see who walked through the door. I am SO disappointed.....this is also the store with the most fashionable clothes around. I will be doing my shopping online.
